Even with higher quality assets in the game, the PS5 version of games are usually smaller in size, because they use much heavier compression. Seems kinda backwards here. Subnautica for example is reported to be 14GB on PS4, and 3.5GB on PS5. Huge difference. devs might be inexperienced with compression.
